(Part 1/2) “I first struggled with commandments, and then I struggled with faith. It’s really easy when you’re in that moment to forget that’s the order it happened in. I was very fortunate to be reminded that I struggled to believe while I was not living the commandments. It took outside help to remind me that there’s a correlation. What I took away from my experience is that I cannot trust my spiritual judgment while I’m not in a spiritual place.”
